We are more than just a fashion label — we are a movement of innovation, sustainability, and transformation. At the heart of our work is the mission to create economic opportunities for women, youth, and communities by transforming creativity into sustainable livelihoods.

🌱 Our Origins – The Spirit of Kaso Lathu Creatives

Nomonde Designs is one of the core outcomes of Kaso Lathu Creatives, a registered Social Enterprise and innovation hub based in Area 47, Lilongwe, Malawi. Kaso Lathu is committed to nurturing creative industries that drive economic growth in line with Malawi Vision 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Kaso Lathu Creatives operates through:

1. Nomonde Designs – Our flagship fashion and eco-product brand
2. Learning & Transformation Programs – Skills development in tailoring, digital marketing, photography, crafts, and more
3. Research & Innovation – Advancing eco-friendly products, including our pioneering banana fiber project

• Eco-Fashion Production: Custom-designed clothing for all genders and ages
• Uniform Manufacturing: School uniforms, nurse's wear, guards' and industrial uniforms
• Reusable Sanitary Pads: Makers of Chisomo Gentle Pads – affordable, reusable, and environmentally friendly
• Events & Promotions: Decoration, corporate gifting, vendor handling, and event management
• Job Creation: We employ 7 full-time staff and up to 20 more seasonally, with the vision to expand even further
• Community Impact: Through our learning programs, we train and upskill youth, women, and school dropouts
